Ranthambore National park is one of the biggest and the most renowned National park in India. This largest park is located in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan, which is nearly 150km from Jaipur. This park is considered as one of the famous and one of the largest hunting grounds for the Maharajas of Jaipur.
Till date the park is one of the major tourist attractions for the people off all around the world and has pulled many tourists and wildlife photographers towards its beauty. A lot of hotels and resorts are also made inside the park for the convenience of the tourists.
Ranthambore National is spread over an area of approx 390 sq km along with its nearby sanctuaries like- the Kaila Devi Sanctuary and the Mansingh Sanctuary. The park is majorly famous for its vast variety of tigers and a wide variety of flora and fauna. The tigers in this park can easily spot at any point of time.
You can visit the Park at any season except the monsoon season i.e. from July to September because park remains closed in this season. The nearest airport to the park for the tourists is Sanger Airport in Jaipur which is located approx 180km from the park. The nearest railway station is Sawai Madhopur Railway Station which is very close to the park but their no nearby bus stand near the Ranthambore National Park. 2. Sundarbans national park
It is a national park situated in West Bengal, India. It is a home to a lot of the Royal Bengal Tiger. The thick woods of the Sundarbans have always held an interesting part for the guests in West Bengal. As the world’s biggest delta, the Sundarbans has earned its name as one of the world’s best miracles. 3. Jim Corbett National Park
Corbett National Park, got its name in 1957 after Jim Corbett, the renowned photographer and naturalist. This is India’s first national park and certainly the most alluring Park in India. The Park is situated in the lower regions of the Himalayas, a midst rich greenery and lopsided mountains with fluctuating statures, going from around 1300 feet to about 4000 feet.
This forest is enriched with a large variety of flora and fauna. There are approx 600 species of plants in this forest and almost all the species of fauna you can find in this forest. This forest covers 520 square kilometers which includes mountains, hills, marshy lands and lakes.
If you love them then also Jim Corbett National park is a heaven for you because more than 650 spices of birds habitat there. Their sounds are very pleasant to the visitors and you will surely enjoy it a lot.
To reach Jim Corbett, Ramnagar is best for it as it is the headquarter of CTR. This city is very well connected with roads and rails through many metro-politician cities. The park is around 15 minutes to the railway station. And if you go through the road then the park is approx 250 kilometer from New Delhi.
The entry to this park starts from 6:30 in the morning to 5:30 in the evening. The best time to visit the park is from November to June. Try to avoid your visit in monsoon because at that time the forest experiences a heavy rainfall.
So you can easily head out to any of these destinations to spend your great time and enjoy to the fullest. But, be warned with the tigers and maintain a proper distance and don’t forget to follow the basic guidelines of the forest department because these can be dangerous also at a point of time.
