Well, you don’t have to worry about anything related to your first time travel tips to India, till the time I’m here. Smile please!
Since India is a land of rich culture and heritage, it is again a place that is in the top list of fantasies and fascinations for people. So, of course you will definitely have things going in your mind related to your tour, what would you do and plenty of other things, but trust me, you need not to worry.
Here I bring you the travel tips for your India Tour. Go accordingly and I can pretty much assure, you won’t face any problems.
1. Comfortable Cloths are must..
The first and the foremost thing you need to take care about is your cloths. Prefer packing the cloths which are lose and are extremely comfortable. Chose the fabric which is breathable and is free enough that it won’t stick to your skin. While you are selecting the cloths, make sure, you check the weather conditions of the place before hand and accordingly do pack the related cloths.
If you aren’t travelling in winters, Men should prefer carrying Cargo Shorts and women shall wear something that covers their body as much as it can. It will help your skin not to get sun burns or tanning.
2. Only Shoes, No HEELS.
You known the sightseeing require you to walk and explore the area. And if you would be wearing your heels, trust me it’s not good. So, get some shoes with you or may be some floaters or flats that makes you remain comfortable in every situation. I say, DO NOT GO FOR HEELS. NEVER EVER.
3. “Nice Sunglasses!”
Make sure you get this statement as a compliment. And so, don’t forget to get your prettiest pair of Sunglasses with you. Just don’t look cool and stylish, yet save your eyes for the stress and from the sun heat of course.
4. Never Carry Heavy Bags!
While you are doing your packing, don’t pack many cloths and stuffs. Keep it simple and less. Few pairs of dresses and some other essentials. Don’t make it much heavy for you to face issues while carrying it.
5. Carry your Medications with you
It might happen that some of your body part is paining by the end of the day, so I suggest you to carry your medicines that you usually take and are prescribed by your doctor to avoid any mishap. Since there are chances of non availability of the brand of medicines that you take, so you should carry them with you.
Please note if you are under any serious medication and vaccinations, please do carry them with you.
6. A small Bag is of Great Help
One should not forget to bring a small zip bag or sling bag with you in which you can keep your essential documents, cell phone, your currency and your debit and credit cards.
7. Still Camera
Camera is extremely important you see. Capture the views, arrest the time for ever and relive the memories whenever you want to. But, if you aren’t a professional photographer, prefer not carrying an extremely professional DSLR Camera. Since in many monuments, photography by professionals aren’t allowed.
While you are on Trip:
While you are on your first trip to India, make sure you are taking care of the following aspects:
Change of currency is extremely crucial aspect of your trip. As soon as you land at your arrival destination’s Airport, you may get yourself the currency changed at the airport itself. It would help you to travel and do shopping without any issues of currency acceptance.
You should always carry your mineral water bottle with you. This is another essential thing you must keep with yourself. As an advice, keep drinking a sip or two in a time span of every 30 minutes and one hour to avoid dehydration.
If your planning a trip to India for first time which includes more number of days, I would recommend you to buy one Indian Sim Card for your daily conversation with your guide, driver and your travel agent. Hence, no getting lost anywhere.
You must never forget to use the personal care products like the sunscreen lotion, face cream and other products to avoid wasting time looking for store to buy them. Don’t forget to use them of course.
While you are going for Lunch/Dinner/Street Food, always ask for suggestions or recommendations from your tour guide since he knows the hygiene of the place very well. Try the type of food you usually have. So, for example, if you don’t like spicy food, you shouldn’t opt for it. Always go for the best in your vacations to India.
Never forget to jot down the details of the place you are exploring. This will not only help you to remember your trip but will help you keep some extra knowledge. So, a dairy and a pen are the best friends.
