Day 1 : Arrival – Chennai

As you fly down to Chennai, you would be escorted by our representative to the hotel pre-booked for you. If there is time then you can visit the various attraction of this cosmopolitan city – Chennai. Stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 2 : Chennai – Mahabalipuram

Start your journey by going to places such as San Thome cathedral, Fort St. George and the famous museums situated in the city. Later, kick start your journey to Mahabalipuram, and then check into the hotel pre booked for you in Mahabalipuram. Stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 3 : Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram

Explore the landmarks of Mahabalipuram which include various wonders of the world also enlisted in UNESCO like the Arjuna’s Penance (monolith), Five Rathas or Panch Rathas – Temple dedicated to the Pandavas and the Shre Temple. Stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 4 : Mahabalipuram – Tanjore

We move towards Tanjore by road which is going to be a 6 hours journey covering 300Kms. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Explore the vicinity as you relax in the beauty of the place. Visit the various local markets of the place.

Day 5 : Tanjore

Explore Tanjore in all its grandeur and begin your temple tour visiting the Bihadeshwara temple and then visit the Rock Fort which is situated in Trichy, the Srirangam temple complex located on River Cauvery’s island and then the Sri Ranganathaswami Temple.

Day 6 : Tanjore – Madurai or Tanjore – Chettinad

This day could be planned in two ways: Proceed to your tour as you visit the grand temples of Madurai. Visit the picturesque temples of Madurai by visitingthe mesmerizing Meenakshi Amman temlple and the other temples in Dravidian style.
OR
This is the second way in which this day is to be planned. Travel to Chettinad from Tanjore, by road. Check into the hotel and then visit the famous attractions such as Athangudi, Chettiar Clan Temple, Athmanathaswamy Temple etc. Stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 7 : Madurai /Chettinad – Kodaikanal

We leave for Kodaikanal, today. As you reach there, check into the hotel booked for you. This day is at leisure to indulge in individual activities and then stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 8 : Kodaikanal

The day is completely dedicated to explore the various tourist hotspots of Kodaikanal such as the Coaker’s walk – a serene walk amongst the mountains, Kodaikanal Lake or Kopdai Lake and Pillar Rocks. Enjoy your stay and then later retire to the hotel for the night.

Day 9 : Kodaikanal – Munnar (161Km)

Enter into Kerala as you reach to Munnar by road. Munnar is characterized by the beautiful surroundings and the weather of the region. As you arrive to Munnar, check into the hotel booked for you. Visit the beautiful tea and coffee estates of the place and do not forget to visit the Christ Church. Stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 10 : Munnar

Visit the famous Eravikulam National Park and witness the flora fauna of the Park which are exclusive to the place. This place is at a short drive which covers almost 15 kms. Stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 11 : Munnar – Cochin (126Kms)

Day 12 : Cochin

This day would completely be dedicated to Cochin as we go on a sightseeing tour of major attractions such as the Jewish Synagogue and the Dutch palace. Our next halt would be at the Spice markets of India where you can enjoy the sight of spice production and breathe in the rich aroma. You can also cruise over to the islands in the vicinity. Day 13 : Cochin- Mararikulam (41kms)
