Day 1 : Delhi – Bagdogra (By Air) – Darjeeling

Arrive to Delhi and reach to Bagdogra Airport. As soon as you arrive here, we will proceed our journey to Darjeeling which is a 3 hours drive from there. Complete the check in formalities at the hotel pre-booked for you. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities. Enjoy the nearby areas to the hotel. Stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 2 : Darjeeling

We begin our journey by visiting the Tiger Hill which in itself is a beautiful hilltop. On our way back to our hotel we would halt to visit the Ghoom Monastery which is a 3 hours drive away. As you reach Darjeeling, check into the hotel pre-booked for you. The rest of the day is free for leisure. You can go about the vicinity exploring things.

Day 3 : Darjeeling – Pemayangtse (Pelling)

We would begin our journey by driving towards Pelling. As soon as you reach Pelling, check into the hotel and relax. We will later proceed to Pemayangtse Monastery, which is a Buddhist Monastery in Sikkim. Stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 4 : Pelling – Gangtok

Kick – start your day by driving to Gangtok. Check into the hotel and relax for a while. We will then go and visit the tourist hotspots such as Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, Enchey Monastery, Research Institute of Tibetology, Chorten and the world famous Rumtek Monastery. Stay for the night.

Day 5 : Gangtok – Lachung

We would move to Lachung today by road which is 117 Kms away. We would take a stopover at Kabilungtsok to admire the beauty of the aura of Sikkim. We would also visit the Naga falls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls of the state and the Holy Rock at Chungthang a nearby local village. Have lunch on the way and then check into the hotel as you reach the destination. Stay for the night.

Day 6 : Lachung - Yumthang – Lachung

Have a hearty breakfast as we are about to start our road trip to Yumthang valley, also known as the ‘Valley of Flowers’. Indulge in various adventurous and recreational activities as you go about hiking and activities like zorbing here. You'll have to return to Lachung for overnight stay.

Day 7 : Lachung – Gangtok

We will move towards Gangtok, by road. Do not forget to watch the Kanchenjunga from Singhik point as you go to Gangtok. We would also halt at the Phodang Monastery, which is a Buddhist monastery. As you arrive, check into the hotel and stay for the night.

Day 8 : Gangtok – Phuentsholing (Bhutan Border)

On this day we would drive to Phuentsholing, which is located in the southern part of Bhutan. Check into the hotel as you arrive. Spent the day in individual activities. Go and visit the local market and explore the vicinity.

Day 9 : Phuentsholing – Thimpu (6 hours drive)

As you arrive to Thimpu, check into the hotel pre-booked for you. The rest of the day is to be spent at leisure. Indulge in individual recreational activities and stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 10 : Thimpu

Post breakfast, go and visit the National Library, the School of Thangkha paintings and the Traditional Medicine Institute. In the afternoon go to Dochula, which is 23 Kms away from the capital of Bhutan – Thimpu. If the weather permits we can go and visit Mt.Gangkar Puensum, Table Mountain, Jeje Khang, Masakhang and Gangcheyta, which are beautiful snow capped mountain peaks. Stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 11 : Thimpu – Paro (2 Hours Drive)

The first thing in the morning, we will drive to Paro and check into the hotel upon arrival. We will first pay visit to Drukgyal Dzong. As we go on about our sightseeing tour we would also visit the Taktsang Monastery. We will go about and visit the National Museum or an ancient watch Tower- Ta Dzong. Stay at the hotel for the night. Have dinner.

Day 12 : Paro – Delhi

This is the last day of your North East with Bhutan Tour. You would be taken to Paro airport and then board a flight to Delhi. From here, board a flight to your home country.
