Day 1 : Chennai

As you arrive at the Chennai airport, our representative would take you to the hotel pre-booked for you. We would start our sightseeing tour to Chennai by visiting places to Fort St. George, St. Thomas Mount, San Thome Cathedral, Kapaleeswar Temple and the National Art Gallery. Go on to an excursion to the Marina beach and enjoy the picturesque landscapes. Stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 2 : Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram

We would now proceed over to Mahabalipuram via Kanchipuram. This includes the visit to Kailasanthar temple, Ekambareshwar temple, the Vardarajanperumal Temple and the Sakkiswarar Temple. After then go on and drive to Mahabalipuram. Upon arrival check into the hotel pre-booked for you.

Day 3 : Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry

We would today visit the Shore and the Five Ratha Temples, Arjuna’s Penance and the Tiger caves. After the visit, we would leave for Pondicherry. Upon arrival check into the hotel pre-booked for you. Relax. The rest of the day is at leisure. Take a walk around Pondicherry’s local market. Stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 4 : Pondicherry – Swamimalai

After the breakfast, explore Pondicherry and visit the beaches along its coastline. Later you can go and visit the Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville. Thereafter we would drive towards Swamimalai and would also halt at Chidambaram, and Gangaikond Cholapuram. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and then go visit the Swamimalai Murugan Temple.

Day 5 : Swamimalai – Tanjore

As you have your breakfast, move to Tanjore and visit the Navagraha Temples. As you reach Tanjore check into the hotel, pre booked for you. Rest and relax. Go and visit various places like the Vijayanagar Fort, Shiva Ganga Garden, Aalangudi Temple, Brahadeshwara Temple and Chandra Bagawan Temple. Return to the hotel and stay for the night.
