6 Days Spituk Trek

Destinations Covered : Delhi – Leh – Spituk – Zingchen – Rumbak – Stok La – Stok – Leh – Delhi

Day 01 : Delhi – Leh

As you arrive to Delhi, our representative would take you to Leh by flight which is less than two hours away. Upon arrival, check into the hotel pre-booked for you. Rest for the day for as you get accustomed to the altitude of Leh. Stay at the hotel for the night. Dine and relax.

Day 02 : Leh : Sightseeing

This day would completely be dedicated to sightseeing in Leh. We’ll be visiting the Hemis, Shey and Thiksey monastery. Shey Gompa used to be the summer palace of Ladakh kings. It’s a structure where you will find various stupas and Gompas built around. The Thiksey monastery is the most beautiful monastery in Ladakh. Also the Hemis monastery is considered to be the largest in Ladakh belonging to Drukpa order. Retire to the hotel and stay for the night.

Day 03 : Leh – Spituk – Zingchen

We would now drive to Spituk and then move to Zingchen, by road. As you arrive at Zingchen, we will set up a campsite. Stay there for the night. The rest of the evening is free and you can explore the vicinity. Dine and relax.

Day 04 : Rumbak – Stok la – Camp Site

Now we would start our trek as we will climb up the Namlung La or Stok pass. This won’t be much of a problem and it will be done easily. Then from the campsite we would move towards east for 10 mins to find the path taking us across the pass. Stay and dinner at tent.

Day 05 : Campsite – Stok – Leh

We would go downhill today and then move following the stream as we head north. Here you will find various wild flora and then enjoy the view of islands in the middle of the stream. After arrival at Stok, do not forget to visit the Stok Palace. Stay at the tent.

Day 06 : Leh – Delhi

Move to Delhi by flight from Leh. From Delhi, book a flight to your home country. Your tour ends here.
