7 Days Alaknanda Rafting Expedition

Day 01 : Delhi – Haridwar

As you arrive at Delhi, meet Travelsite India’s representative who will take you to Haridwar. Upon arrival check into the hotel pre-booked for you. Later go to the Har-ki-Pauri and witness the Arti there and include a trip to Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi temple, Maya Devi Temple and the Mahadeo temple. Return to the hotel and stay.

Day 02 : Haridwar – Rishikesh

This day would start as we will drive to Rishikesh early in the morning. Upon arrival check into the hotel pre-booked for you by Travelsite India and rest. Here fight the rapids such as three blind mice, Rollercoaster etc. Return to Rishikesh and stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 03 : Rishikesh – Kaldubagarh

On this day we would drive to Kaldubagarh which would be a ride of 6-7 hours. We would also halt at Rudraprayag and Devprayag. Here we would visit the Raghunathji temple, Dashrathshila, koteshwar Mandir and Dhari Devi Mandir. Stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 04 : Kaldubagarh – Chamoli – Kaldubagarh

As we have our breakfast we would drive to Chamoli and upon arrival start the rafting. Here we would fight some of the major rapids such as grade IV and IV plus. In the evening we would return to the hotel in Kaldubagarh and stay there for the night. Dine and relax.

Day 05 : Kaldubagarh – Gauchar

We will raft until Gauchar today as we experience plethora of grade III and grade IV rapids. As you raft reach to the confluence of Pindar at Karaprayag. The treacherous Alaknanda become even more rapid as the Pindar River add more water which pumps up the flow of river Alaknanda. Retire to the hotel for the night. Dine and relax.

Day 06 : Gauchar – Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi

This would be the last day of your tour. Enjoy various Grave III and Grade IV rapids. After having breakfast, raft to Rudraprayag and have fun at as you brave grade V rapids near Kakar falls. Then lastly we would cross a grade IV rapid – Holy hole after covering that we would drive to Rishikesh and then to Haridwar. Here we would visit the Arti at Har-ki-Pauri. After that we would move to Delhi and then check into the hotel there.

Day 07 : Delhi – Departure

Today after breakfast, move to Delhi Airport and board a flight to your home country. Your Alaknanda rafting expedition with Travelsite India would end here.
